Chef Kasdi a Professional Celebrity’s Chef from ASTRO and Ministry of Rural & Regional Development (KKLW). He was also known as Chef K in “JAGUH KAMPUNG Season 3 (2013) & 4 (2014)” which is a reality cooking TV Show that showcases Authentic Malaysian Kampung Cuisine, at ASTRO PRIMA & MAYA HD. He was also featured in RTM2 Show call “ChikiBoom” as guest chef for Raya Segment and co-host “Cergas Jelita” in RTM which promoted healthy food ingredients and recipes.



Successful project in 2015 and 2016;

• Had worked with Malaysian Palm Oil Council produced series of infomercial videos on palm oil with Malaysian Palm Oil to educate and gave correct information regarding our palm to international community, which can be viewed in Palm Oil Trail TV Youtube channel.

• Chef Kasdi with his team of Malaysian chefs also had represented Malaysia as Resident Chef and culinary advisor at World Expo MILANO 2015, Italy for 6 months, which Malaysia had been ranked No 3 best food during the EXPO.


Had conducted a few series of Malaysia Food and Cultural Promotion under Tourism Malaysia such as in Frankfurt, Germany and most recently in Tokyo, Japan (Joint Venture Promo with Tourism Malaysia-Brahim’s).


Chef Kasdi’s career took a natural progression when he stepped in as Group Executive Chef for the Delicious Group / Hospitality & Lifestyles Division. With his guidance, Delicious Restaurant has spread it wing by opening few other branches from the north state of Penang to the Republic of Singapore. Currently, the casual dining restaurant has 12 outlets.


Chef Kasdi also served as Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef for several companies/ hotels including Eastern & Oriental Group, Bryggen Gastronomi in Norway, LSG Sky Chefs-Brahim, currently known as Brahim’s Airline Catering BAC. During his tenure in airline catering, MAS had won World Best Economy Class Food by Skytrax 2005, and Best Caterer for Korean Air by Korean Air, 2006. At LSG Sky Chefs-Brahim, he also managed to turnover of 50,000 meal per day with 600 chefs/cooks as Production Manager/Executive Chef.

He also had worked in Grand Plaza Park Royal KL, Holiday Inn Sarawak and Sheraton Labuan.

Other than that, Chef Kasdi also was once attached with PNS (Perbadanan Nasional Berhad) which one Malaysian Government Linked Company under the Ministry of Entrepreneur & Cooperative as Culinary Director, which was in charge of the Malaysia Kitchen Programme that was accountable for the opening of Jom Makan Restaurant in Tokyo and Jom Makan London Menu Development.
